TDH5 - A HUGE SUCCESS
Treffen der Hamster 5, held at Arms Park in Manchester, NH in June 2007 was a huge success. Thanks to all of you folks that attended, we were able to raise a significant amount of money for the Vikki Lowe Memorial UNITE Fund - which in turn is used to help other VW and Audi enthusiasts, as well as the charities that they support. This year money was donated to Walk for Cancer, The PAN-MASS Challenge and Livestrong.
TDH5 drew a record number of participants again this year, with more than 200 cars lined up, and more than 270 people attending. Our sponsors were awesome once again, with VW of America bringing in the R GTI, and the new, not yet available in North America, Jetta Sportwagen. They always come through for us, with something great and this year was no exception. Also a huge thanks to East Coast European, who donated a GIAC chip, DTM and their donation of a gift certificate for parts or labor, Manchester VW and Audi of Nashua who each donated great VW and Audi gear including a VW electric guitar.
Most importantly, thanks to all of the attendees who came out this year. There were some amazing cars, and the amount of effort that goes into some of them is truly astounding.
